At SVP Teens, we
value our core
principles.

The Seven Principles

IT'S COOL TO CARE!

Making an effort is cool. Being driven and passionate is cool. Trying new things – even if you’re not good at them – is cool. People who aren't afraid to take action are the absolute coolest.

COMMIT.

Be accountable! Don't try to do it all. With enough time management and forward thinking, it is easy to organize and prioritize your time commitments so that you can get the most out of SVP Teens.

INITIATIVE > EXPERIENCE

Since this group is entirely led by youth, as an SVP Teen you truly get out of it what you give. Those who hustle, put in the work, and show up are the ones who will get the amazing opportunities.

FAILURES ARE NOT FATAL

Failing is the best way to learn, and it’s only truly a failure if you don’t learn from it. "I can accept failure, but I can't accept not trying." - Micheal Jordan

SPEAK UP!

Don’t be afraid to bring your strengths and your new ideas forward! Your perspective is valued and we are excited to learn with you and learn from you.

SAY YES TO COLLABORATION!

Each person on a team brings a new perspective to whatever it is that you are working on. We have assembled a capable, motivated, and talented team, and are excited to start collaborating with you!

YOUR ACTIONS MATTER.

As a member of SVP Teens, your actions reflect upon the whole SVP organization. When you project positive energy into the world, positive energy is what you will get back.
