Holiday Cards

Spreading joy from the comfort of your home.

Even though we were kept apart for the holidays, we could still reach out to our loved ones with SVP Teens holiday cards. We offered four different cards, designed by SVP Teens themselves, professionally printed and delivered to several across Canada.

Personal Challenge Fundraiser

18 different personal challenges amounting to $1481!

SVP Teens took on their own personal challenges while in lockdown (including biking 300km, learning new languages and producing comedy sketches) and got their friends and family to raise money for their initiatives. This was our biggest fundraiser of the year with a total of almost $1500 raised!

Lockdown Learning

New way of living = new hobbies!

Informative sessions on everything from brownie baking, to origami, to coding, to science experiments led by our very own SVP Teens. Participants engaged in short workshops conducted by industry professionals and, in just one hour, particpants came out with a whole new set of skills.

Holiday Concert

Live Music From the Comfort of your Home.

An assembly of performances from all ages of some of KW’s most talented dancers and musicians. Some of the highlights of the evening included performances of self-written country songs, k-pop dance performances, as well as guitarists and pianists. The lineup of performancers included some SVP Teens themselves!

The Perfect Pitch

Sharing your story.

Perfect Pitch Waterloo Region is a free non-profit communication workshop series where local charities learn to share their organization’s story and impact with power and clarity in 3 minutes, and then share what they’ve learned at Perfect Pitch Night. During Perfect Pitch Night 2019, three of our own SVP Teens participated in the event as guest judges for the perfect pitch judging panel.

Bottle Drive

Collecting bottles across the Region!

SVP Teens dedicated weeks to collecting empty bottles from individuals across the Waterloo Region! The fundraiser was a huge success!
